Title: bawsly order updates
Post by: nastytroph on November 09, 2011, 07:36 am
i know there's a lot of people here with orders that have been finalized early with him. i have an order out with him that was supposed to have been shipped out last friday via usps priority, so it should have gotten here yesterday or today. it didn't show up today so i messaged him, and after confirming shipping info, apparently it has been sent to the wrong address. he says he is willing to reship if it was indeed lost in the mail.

please update in this thread if you have early finalized orders with him and you receive your order (or not). my anxiety over finalizing early would be much relieved if i started seeing people receiving their orders, as of now his feedback just looks like a ton of people saying they've finalized early in a short time period, and only a handful of orders received. not saying he's up to something, but obviously the situation could go badly for quite a few people if his intentions were bad.

I placed an order with him and stayed in escrow. He was very polite in his messages, but then again so were pillowtalk and gear2go and they both got me for my money. I am fucking DONE doing business out of escrow. I will give him the benefit of the doubt - he said that my package was sent yesterday so I will be sure and update when/if it gets here.

There has been a scourge of scammers recently and it makes me question whether a free market such as this would truly work. As great as it all sounds, there are so many fucking greedy bastards out there that are destroying the soul of everything this place stands for. We are a community of like-minded people who should be here to help one another through mutually beneficial trade. Stealing money from someone who is putting their trust in you is just fucking terrible and sickens me.

I strongly promote the idea of a smaller government with less regulations, but the SR market is a microcosm of what happens when we abandon regulation and base transactions on trust in your fellow man. Sure there are plenty of honest sellers out there (Chronic Pain, hybridmike, Anarcho, and many many others) and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for living up to your word and making this amazing community work. However, with people like pillowtalk (~200 transactions with 98% seller rating) or gear2go (60+ transactions with 99% seller rating) or the Larghetto, or those other two H sellers that turned scammmer, or the many other thieves out there, how are we to trust anyone?

I sure as hell hope Bawlsy is honest, especially considering the two transactions I made before him were with gear2go and pillowtalk. This shit is really disheartening and must be resolved. The only solution I see is to promote sellers and buyers to stay inside escrow, but I would love to hear anyone else's ideas about how to fix this growing problem.

Mine was shipped saturday apparently.

Still no sign of a package.
If it doesn't show up tomorrow, we may have a problem.

Will update you guys.

Package did not arrive again today.

Unless someone can show they have gotten anything from this guy recently or he can respond to me what us going on, be careful of BAWSLY.

Made an order out of escrow (yep, I'm an idiot) with him. He said it was shipped on Saturday by priority mail. It's still not here today... I've got a bad, bad feeling about this.

Reasons I'm suspicious:

-The thread where somebody who was supposedly not BAWSLY reviewed BAWSLY's LSD. Someone replied to the thread pointing out why they think that it was a scam. The thread has since been deleted. I PM'd the thread starter asking where the thread went, no response.

-He supposedly sells LSD, but in one of his forum posts he requested a free sample of someone else's LSD.

-Most of his feedback is from people finalizing early.

-His prices are/were suspiciously low.

-No one's packages have arrived yet, even those supposedly shipped on Friday.

-When I ordered he told me that they were going fast (probably in order to cause me to make a decision faster, it worked), yet even after lots more people purchased the product, the listing is STILL up.

At this point, I'm 99% sure I just lost $75. It's entirely my own fault and I should have never gone out of escrow. But hey, I live and I learn.

Caveat emptor.

I ordered, in escrow, on Friday the 4th.  He asked me to finalize early but I didn't.  He seemed very OK with that and said it was shipped late Friday anyway.  I still haven't received but just messaged him.  I'll update all on what I hear.

Peace,
Oreo

Right, if only there was a way to not get scammed.
Some sort of "Es.. Esc.. Escrr.. ESCROW would be AMAZING.

Oh wait, we have one of them at his magnificent marketplace. If you go out of it for a new seller, it's your own fault.

No need to be a smart ass, dude. Did you even read the first paragraph of my post where I specifically said that I DID STAY IN ESCROW?
Reece, it appears as if you only read that single paragraph I wrote and took it entirely out of context. I went on to promote staying inside of escrow.

This should be a community where we support one another, not act like pricks. Sure Reece, you can blame someone for putting faith in a seller's honesty. The fact that when a buyer is scammed, you blame the buyer for putting faith and trust in the decency of a seller instead of blaming the seller for scamming the buyer. While the buyer may have made a mistake by finalizing early, the real fault and blame lies with the seller who steals the money and breaks the trust of the community.

I stay in escrow for almost all my transactions, but considering the only good prices on MDMA tend to come from Europe, I decided to place an order with PillowTalk. I put my trust in him and, as he required when shipping to the US, released my funds early. PillowTalk had 200 transactions and a 99% seller rating - and if someone with that kind of reputation and support on the forums turns to stealing then who can you trust?  Sure, you can blame me if you want. Blame me for putting faith in someone who had earned the trust of many members through months of good service, and then decided to rip a bunch of people off.

My sample order from Bawsly got canceled...it could have been a PGP key problem though..IDK I been unfriendly with my computer lately and ignoring it.
Title: Re: bawsly order updates
Post by: Dongville on November 11, 2011, 07:33 am
Hey, really glad you made this thread, I was thinking of doing the same. I ordered from BAWSLY six days ago. From my experience, packages average about seven days to reach me, so it's not the shipment time that's bothering me; instead, it's the number of recent reviews from people finalizing early.

Let me ignore his LSD, since I've not done the research, and focus on his Adderall. He currently has two listings, both for packs of ten: 10mg and 30mg tablets. Each listing has one single review 5/5 review stating they received the product. The 30mg listing has 10 people who finalized early and the 10mg has 6 people who have finalized early. He also currently has 4 more of each "in stock". That's 5200 milligrams of Adderall either outstanding or in stock. That is extremely suspicious. I'm not even going to go into his pricing, but it is almost of  the "to good to be true" variety.

I don't want to cause a stir because there is a possibility that BAWSLY is a legit seller. I don't think we have waited long enough to find out. I want to bring awareness to people that are thinking of buying from him to consider what I've stated; and do not finalize early. The amount of money he currently has in outstanding orders is far too high.

I urge Silk Road to add a "finalize early" option and a mechanism by which sellers are forced to stay under a certain ratio of money "outstanding" (finalized early) to money finalized/product received,  and I urge BAWSLY to respond to this thread and keep us all informed!
Title: Re: bawsly order updates
Post by: Fred Flintstone on November 11, 2011, 08:08 am
All signs point towards sketchiness
1) He had over 25 finalized early transactions unfulfilled (26 out of his 38 orders haven't been filled)
2) He asked everyone to finalize early in exchange for extra adderall
3) He "ran out" of adderall and the very next day made a listing for a bunch more
4) His prices are much lower than all other adderall listings
5) Those shipments which he said were sent priority still haven't shown up after 5+ days
6) He has made no effort to defend himself on he forum

I really hope I am wrong here, but by all appearances I have a hard time believing he is legitimate. I sent SR a message about putting a hold on BAWSLY's funds for the mean time, but I am not they are going to. Simply putting a hold on his account and preventing him from withdrawing all his funds (if he hasn't already) could save a lot of people a lot of money if he is indeed a scammer.

I'm just glad I stayed in escrow.

Well bawsly really seems like a scammer. I also wanted to buy something and told me about finalizing early which ofc i didnt accept. If you lose money, which is actually almost sure if you check his ratings remember, it isnt his fault but yours. I mean come one guys. What credibility that guy had to finalize early? Still you did

Title: Re: bawsly order updates
Post by: sharetheroad on November 11, 2011, 12:48 pm
if any vendor asks me to release early i'll just cancel my order. there's no reason to go outside of it. we have hedging and a very active resolution staff at SR that makes sure the system works (after all, that's what we pay them for).

it's simple really, i don't care how much good feedback a vendor has - anyone can decide to give up the game and steal a few grand while at it. i don't need drugs bad enough to risk all of my money, i'll just go somewhere else - if there is no where else, i'll wait.

I don't know if this helps, but BAWSLY has not signed up for the forum, so he probably is scamming in the market. I don't think you will ever see him defend himself here......because I just signed up that name today when I didn't see him as registered!

sorry guys, but it looks to me like you have been had.

ordered: November 4, 2011, 5:23 am UTC
shipped: November 5, 2011, 1:12 am UTC

Been lurking on this thread as I have ordered from him as well. I haven't received the product yet, don't expect too. I contacted SR to try and get my money back.

How long do i have to wait for the "Resolve" link opens up?

Thanks

Bawsly writes in the forums with this name jamiepw11

Funny thing is that someone just finalized 2 orders 1 hour ago. Please SR stop this shit.... It was supposed that it was ban for those want to trade outside escrow... come on...

i think it's pretty clear at this point what is going on. to prevent more people from needlessly losing their money, i suggest those who are waiting for their orders to edit their feedback. you can do this by clicking on the Account button near the top of the page, then on the right hand side click on View Feedback. then you can edit your feedback that you have left.

Thanks, I have an order "in transit" also, but I did not finalize early.  Clearly, he's scamming, so what happens now?  Must I wait until the "resolve" button becomes available?  I had a feeling this guy was a douche.
Title: Re: bawsly order updates

Bumping this so more people are aware. Do not order from BAWSLY; it is almost guaranteed he is a scammer. It has now been over a week since my order was shipped, no sign of a package. I don't think anyone else has received their product either.

If you have ordered from BAWSLY, live in the US, finalized early, and haven't received your package in over a week: please update your feedback (Account -> Feedback -> Edit). This seems to be the only way to prevent more people from being scammed.

I ordered on Thursday the 10th and was told the 10x 120 ug tabs would ship first thing Friday. I also finalized because I was/am a first timer, apparently this was a bad idea. Hoping I'm not out $80, but not getting my hopes up. I will update later in the week.

Ordered Nov 3 (thus)
Shipped Nov 4 (fri)
Business Days Elapsed So Far: 4-5

This was for his addy of course... which yeah, is astoundingly attractive in price. Never finalizing early again for a seller I don't know.  >:(

This thread is really depressing to me. I had high confidence in SR after getting quality LSD from bloomingcolor. I'm really hoping that BAWSLY just sent the package first class mail and it's just taking forever (+ the fact that last friday was veterans day). However, it would appear that instead we've all just been scammed and scammed hard.

I'm going to put 1/5 feedback on my orders with him until the package arrives so that other people hopefully don't fall victim.  :'(

Unfortunately for Bawsly the internet isn't as anonymous as he thinks it is. He either currently lives in Houghton, NY or he recently moved to **********. He's also a fat ass. If he doesn't want his personal info displayed here for all to see, I suggest he start issuing refunds.

Saw jamiepw11's ads in the forums for seller BAWSLY, tried the passwords, success!

You got the wrong guy T - AIN'T NO REFUNDS!

Btw - this sort of attack would be perfect for LEO infiltration of SR! Can't trap sellers, so just build a big database of buyer addresses! NOM NOM
